Nisargadatta Maharaj & Inchageri Sampradaya

About:
If the teachings of “I Am” have ever stirred something within you, this journey offers a chance to experience the geography behind that knowing.
This is a yatra exploring the heritage of Nisargadatta Maharaj—from the bustling lanes of Mumbai to lesser-known sacred spaces of rural Maharashtra and Karnataka that hold the pulse of the ancient Inchagiri (Navnath) lineage.
This do-it-yourself yatra pack helps you move beyond surface-level travel with a checklist of places to visit, into a more intimate encounter with a living spiritual tradition —at your own pace, in your own way.
The highlight of this yatra pack is the exploration of a less-known Navnath Gnana marga spread across rural villages of Maharashtra and Karnataka. You will visit many samadhi places, temples and muths (spiritual schools) that are still authentically maintained echoing the spiritual traditions of old.
What does this yatra pack contain?
The route meanders through larger cities like Mumbai, Solapur and Kolhapur and takes you into tiny villages spread across the states of Maharashtra & Karnataka. You will explore samadhi places, temples, muths maintained by a spiritual community following the Navnath Gnana marga.
Inchagiri Sampradaya is a spiritual lineage spanning many decades with many powerful Gurus and enlightened masters. The origin is attributed to Revanath (one of the Navnaths) and his Guru Dattatreya. This yatra pack contains interesting details about this lineage
A few interesting stories pertaining to specific spots which carry significance for a spiritual sadhaka are included – adding a deeper understanding to your yatra.
The yatra pack contains logistical details for the entire route – stay places, food and transport options. When required for certain places, on-ground contact people have been identified (after quite a bit of networking effort by InSpirituality) to ensure you have a smooth journey into rural villages and offbeat tracks.
